Venice Architecture Film Festival
The 2022 Venice Architecture Film Festival is soon approaching!
Venice Architecture Film Festival is an annual event aimed at recognizing issues relevant to architecture, the use of public space and sense of community.
Through the contents of the selected movies, documentaries and animation and short movies, the festival poses questions: What makes a place livable? In what cities we want to live in? What kind of vibrant place for the social and cultural development we wish to create?
The festival is a journey to explore the perception of cities as places for cultural and social development and speaks about architecture from an anthropological perspective and as a tool to shape our society.
The festival will unfold on a three-day schedule, from the 1st to the 3rd of September 2022 at the San Servolo Island, facing the Bacino di San Marco, in Venice.

About Archituned
For these reasons the Association organizes locally and internationally cultural and recreational activities, events, conferences, festivals, competitions, essays, meetings and seminars, workshops, it publishes texts, books and catalogs, but also periodicals, magazines, newspapers, digital and audiovisual material, creates websites related to the aforementioned activities, and will manage artistic, photographic, editorial, archives of libraries, libraries and bookshops.
ArchiTuned can be supported by commercial activities focusing on the social purposes of the mission and projects promoted can be financed and supported by European and International funds, additionally, the association will collaborate with public institutions, private entities, universities and other associations.
Past Events
Inhabitats: the 2022 edition of the Venice Architecture Film Festival, promoted and created by the cultural association ArchiTuned, is an international festival of short movies, documentaries and scripts investigating topics related to architecture.
With the disappearance of a “mainstream” & therefore of an “avant-garde” in the arts, it has been noticed that all the more advanced & intense art-experiences have been recuperable almost instantly by the media, & thus are rendered into trash like all other trash in the ghostly world of commodities.

The Image for the VENICE ARCHITECTURE FILM FESTIVAL 2021
On the occasion of the Venice Architecture Film Festival 2nd edition, ArchiTuned is organizing a competition for the creation of the representative image of the Festival. VAFF (Venice Architecture Film Festival) is an architecture film festival investigating the theme of living in architecture and urban spaces.
